Erin Vilardi is a leadership development consultant working to advance the leadership of women and support organizations at home and abroad. Erin serves as the director of leadership development for The Athena Center for Leadership Studies at Barnard College, Columbia University. Formerly, she was the Vice President of Program and Communications at The White House Project (TWHP), a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to advance U.S. women’s leadership. While at TWHP, she developed VoteRunLead - the largest national political training program readying women for public office and civic life - training over 12,000 women since 2004.


In addition to serving on the Girl Meets World advisory board, she also serves on the Advisory Board of the New American Leaders Project, where she works to increase the number of immigrants participating in U.S. democracy.


Erin has appeared on CNN, BBC, Fox News and in numerous articles on women and politics. She was featured on "Spotlight 25," a Lifetime Television special about young women, and her work has been featured in O, The Oprah Magazine.

 

A resident of New York City, Vilardi graduated from New York University with a BA in Politics and Gender Studies.
