Lorraine Mull: [Co-President and Co-Founder] Lorraine currently works as a Clinical Research Coordinator with the Center for Metabolic and Weight Loss Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center. Concurrently, she is a PhD candidate in Behavioral Nutrition at Columbia University. Lorraine is working on a 5th-grade nutrition science curriculum through a U.S. Department of Agriculture Grant as part of her dissertation.
Lorraine received her Master of Science in Nutrition from Columbia University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry with minors in Mathematics and Nutrition from New York University.
Lorraine has a long history with dance including attending a high school for the performing arts in her hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is one of the founders and Lead Nutritionist of Nutrition Republic, a nation-wide nutrition program in conjunction with the athletic organization, Boot Camp Republic. She also serves as a Nutrition Researcher and Weight Loss Coach for TODAY show health and nutrition expert Joy Bauer. Lorraine has research experience in heart disease prevention, pre- and post-weight loss surgery diets, breast cancer and body image, in conjunction with Mount Sinai and Columbia University Medical Centers.
In the near future, she hopes to write her own weight loss and nutrition books, be a part of creating and implementing large-scale nutrition programs for the general public and become a professor of nutrition and environmental studies. To contact Lorraine directly, please email
